Sourced from our quarries in Aberdeenshire and produced to consistent, reliable standards, it provides an effective solution for slip prevention across a range of environments.
Commonly used by local authorities, contractors, businesses and property owners, Grit is suitable for use throughout Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire and the wider North East of Scotland.
Unlike salt, grit does not melt ice. Instead, it improves traction on icy surfaces, making it effective in very low temperatures where salt becomes less reliable. Grit can also be used alongside salt to enhance grip and surface safety.
